HIGHLIGHTS: Day 1 - Accreditation of Nursing and Business Administration Programs

On August 19, 2024, the accreditation process for Tomas Claudio Colleges’ Nursing and Business Administration programs began with the arrival of the accreditation team, led by Dr. Maria Luz Macasinag, who is chairing this year’s accreditation.
The team was warmly welcomed by TCC President Dr. Edmund Francisco, Chief Academic Officer Dr. Eva De Rosas, Dr. Lalaine Toriado, Dean of the Business Administration program, and Prof. Perlita Santiago, Dean of the Nursing program.
A brief welcome program was held at the CHARM Function Hall, where the accreditors were introduced to the college's key personnel and provided with an overview of the programs under review. The accreditation team then proceeded with their initial assessment, reviewing documents, conducting interviews with faculty and staff, and ensuring that the programs meet the required standards.
The day also included a tour of the facilities, allowing the team to evaluate the learning environment and resources available to students in both programs.
