On September 27, 2024, the College of Business and Accountancy conducted an International Cultural Exchange Program Orientation Seminar at the DH Soriano Multimedia Hall (AVR). The event welcomed students from the College of Business Administration, Accountancy, and Hospitality Management.
The program aims to broaden students’ perspectives and promote global citizenship by offering opportunities like Summer Work and Travel. This program allows students to immerse themselves in another culture, contributing to their personal growth and fostering international cooperation and friendship.
Additionally, students who previously participated in OJT (On-the-Job Training) in the U.S. shared their experiences, highlighting the valuable life skills, adaptability, and confidence gained through navigating new environments and cultures. These exchanges help build global partnerships in fields such as business, education, and the arts.
Dr. Lalaine Toriado, Dean of the College of Business and Accountancy, emphasized that the objectives of Summer Work and Travel (OJT to the U.S.) align with TCC’s mission to train CLAUDIANS to become globally competitive.
Dr. Eva De Rosas, Chief Academic Officer, also highlighted the significance of the program, noting that Summer Work and Travel presents an excellent opportunity for Tomas Claudio Colleges students.
The seminar’s success was made possible with the help of TCC's partners, HR International and Global Vantage One.
