NEWS: TCC attends CODEB IVA General Assembly

On September 20, 2024, Tomas Claudio Colleges participated in the Council of Deans and Educators of Business Region IVA (CODEB IVA) General Assembly, held at Enverga University Foundation in Lucena City.
The TCC delegation was led by Dr. Eva De Rosas, Chief Academic Officer, accompanied by several deans:
Dr. Lalaine Toriado, Dean of Business and Accountancy
Dr. Ruel Manalo, Dean of Education and Liberal Arts
Prof. Perlita Santiago, Dean of Nursing
Prof. Rachel Dumlao, Dean of Hospitality Management
Prof. Everly Mata, Dean of Physical Therapy
The assembly provided an essential platform for schools in the region to stay informed about updates from CHED and gain insights into the goals and programs of CODEB IVA.
The discussions centered on supporting faculty and student growth, with a focus on internationalizing higher education.
A key highlight was the discussion about participating in global rankings such as the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings (THE-IR) and the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Rankings, which could significantly enhance the visibility and reputation of higher education institutions on a global scale.
For TCC, the event presented a valuable opportunity to gather insights on improving education quality and fostering innovation. Engaging with global rankings could lead to new partnerships and collaborations, benefiting both faculty development and student success.
