Tomas Claudio Colleges (TCC) has long been committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and environmentally friendly campus through the consistent practice of proper waste segregation. This initiative reflects the institution’s enduring dedication to environmental care, public health, and campus safety.

For many years, TCC has implemented the use of color-coded waste bins to guide students, faculty, and staff in responsible waste disposal:

  • Blue bins for recyclable waste such as paper, cartons, and cans

  • Green bins for infectious waste, including masks, bandages, and other materials that may carry germs

  • Red bins for hazardous waste, such as used syringes, chemical containers, and broken glass

In addition, the campus features a dedicated storage area for plastic bottles, ensuring that these materials are properly collected and recycled. By separating plastic bottles from other waste, TCC helps reduce landfill accumulation and supports sustainable recycling practices.

These long-standing waste management measures not only promote cleanliness and hygiene but also protect the health and safety of the entire Claudian community. Through discipline, awareness, and collective responsibility, TCC continues to uphold a culture of environmental stewardship—one that supports sustainability today and for generations to come.
