March is recognized as Fire Prevention Month, serving as an important reminder for everyone to remain alert, prepared, and committed to safety at all times.

This annual campaign aims to raise awareness about the common causes of fire, including faulty electrical wiring, unattended cooking, improper handling of flammable materials, and negligence in the use of electrical appliances. It also emphasizes the importance of knowing the appropriate actions during fire emergencies, such as staying calm, immediately alerting others, using fire extinguishers when it is safe to do so, and evacuating through designated emergency exits.

For every Claudian, understanding these essential safety measures is vital in fostering a culture of responsibility, preparedness, and concern for one another within the academic community. Being informed not only helps prevent potential fire incidents but also equips individuals with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively during emergencies.

As we observe Fire Prevention Month, let us all do our part in promoting vigilance and safety to protect lives, property, and the entire Tomas Claudio Colleges community.

Fire safety is everyone's responsibility. Prevention starts with awareness.
