On August 15, 2024, Tomas Claudio Colleges (TCC) proudly celebrated its Foundation Day with a series of vibrant events marking its 74th Anniversary. The celebration kicked off with a Foundation Day Parade, where the streets of Morong came alive as over 1,000 Claudians from basic education to the college level, along with teaching and non-teaching staff, participated in a spirited procession from Morong Catholic Church to TCC. This grand display of unity and pride showcased the strength and diversity of TCC's various departments, celebrating its shared legacy and the spirit of community.
Later in the day, the Anniversary Program took place at 10:00 AM, where the event honored the founders and employees for their unwavering dedication and service to the institution. The program began with a message from Dr. Antonio Mateo, Chairman of TCC, who emphasized the significance of celebrating milestones, particularly in the face of current uncertainties. He highlighted that the celebration's theme reflects the college’s commitment to reaching greater heights and striving for globalization.
Dr. Edmund Francisco, TCC President, also shared his thoughts on the upcoming diamond celebration marking 75 years of excellence. He stressed the importance of recognizing the hard work and dedication of TCC’s employees and faculty, who continue to strive for global excellence.
The program also featured an address by Hon. Sidney Soriano, the municipal mayor of Morong, Rizal, who expressed pride in the institution. Mayor Soriano affirmed that TCC is not only a source of pride for the community but also a testament to quality education and excellence.
This event served as a fitting tribute to TCC’s rich legacy, underscoring its ongoing commitment to excellence and its vision for a future marked by global achievement. As the day concluded, Claudians celebrated the continuing journey of the institution, marking another significant step toward its future success.
